Our Story
Our founder entered the sterile processing industry in 2008, while he was in school completing his bachelor’s degree. He took a sterile processing certificate training program at one of the largest city colleges in the US; however, he was the only one in the course who passed the certification examination. He stated the course was not teaching the material correctly, so we studied the material on his own prior to taking the examination.
Once he started working as a Sterile Processing Technician, he quickly noticed the lack of competence with the technicians and within the SPD leader. Therefore, he made a conscious decision to remain in SPD and to lead the paradigm shift that was, and in many ways, still needed in the sterile processing industry. He completed his BA degree and MA degree and worked in multiple SPD leadership roles around the nation, i.e., Director of Medical Programs, System Director of SPD and as an SPD Consultant.
Due to the amount of hospitals around the nation that need help and the lack of leaders with the proper KSAs to lead the department successful, he decided to start Chike (Chee-Kay) Healthcare Partners (CHP) , a faith-based (Christ is Lord) SPD Consulting & Leadership Staffing firm that will allow him to vet and develop the best SPD leaders to send out to healthcare facilities around the nation. The Key difference between CHP and other staffing firms is that CHP was developed by one of the top leaders in the industry, so we are not just sending random candidates to our healthcare partners, we vet them by CHP’s High Performing Gold Standards and only give our partners leaders that have what it takes to succeed.
